Receeve ("we", "our", "the app") helps you scan, store, and organise receipts. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how it's handled.
We do not collect location data, and we do not use your information for advertising or sell it to third parties.
When you scan a receipt, the photo is sent to a third-party AI service to extract the store name, amount, date, and category. We do not permit our AI provider to use your receipt photos to train their models. Extracted data is then stored in your account as described below.
Automated scanning can occasionally misread a receipt. Always check the details it fills in, and refer to the original receipt or the retailer directly for anything time-sensitive, such as a return deadline.
Your account details, receipt data, and receipt photos are stored using Supabase, a third-party database and storage provider. Data is transmitted and stored securely.
We keep your account and receipt data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us (see below).
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. To do so, email us at [email protected].
Receeve is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children under this age.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
